Do I need to register to order? No but there are many benefits from registering before you order. When you register you will benefit from a great deal of extra features which will be available every time you visit the website. The website will store your profile and details and will also allow you to check on your order status, review all your previous orders, view your account, add records to your wish list, send personal messages, give you entry to the forum, chat area, Market Place and finally the DJ Area where you can add your own DJ profile and DJ mixes.
You register on the front page on the left hand side in the My IMO Section
When you first register you will be sent an email to the address you gave, here you will find your password and login details for future reference. On return to the site use the details to enter into the login section to obtain access alternatively your computer can save your details and will log you in automatically each time you return to the site.
Once you have registered you can change any of your details at any time just by logging into your account and clicking on the user profile section.
This is an area designed for you to tell us a little bit about yourself upload your profile, photos and upload you own DJ Mixes.
A password reminder can be sent easily if you happen to forget it. Attempt to log in and when you are refused a forgotten password icon will appear, click here and a reminder will be sent to your email address.
Simply click on the speaker icon next to the track. You will need a media player to here the tracks or you can use the IMO records virtual deck player.
All products that are available to buy on the website are in stock. All other products will have the No Stock symbol next to them. You can alter the website to your preferences at the top of each page by clicking the "in stock only" and "all items" icons.

How do I order online?
Once you have registered simply add any products you are after into your shopping cart (items can be easily removed if no longer required) once you have added everything you are after simply hit the checkout icon where you will be asked for your payment details. IMO give you a number of different ways to purchase goods from our web site:
If you are shopping from outside the UK and paying by credit card, your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.
The CVV number is the security number on the back of a debit or credit card. It situated on the signature strip and is the last three digits.
If you are using a Switch or Solo card, the issue number is displayed on the font.
Please add items to your cart and it will work out your shipping, if you believe something is not right in postage, please email us.
Order Insurance? If UK customers would like royal mail special delivery next day - this will cost an extra £3.50
Royal Mail orders worldwide are insured up to a max of £30
If abroad customers would like royal mail track and trace this will cost an extra £3.95
Parcel force and fed ex order are fully insured
Some orders can be tracked depending on what shipping option you chose. Your tracking number will be emailed to you so you can track your order at any time. Click here for the differing shipping options.
Yes simply fill in the shipping address section at the checkout as the alternative address you want the order to go to.
The websites stock is in real time so movements are updated every second.
New products are updated to the web site every day. Due to all our transactions being handled by a different company we are sometimes asked to email clients to acquire further details. If a transaction has been flagged up as a warning or caution you will need to provide us with some basic information. This is simply to avoid internet fraud.

Cookies are the most secure way of verifying your identity while you use our website. IMO Records only uses session cookies - these are temporary cookies that store your session information. They do not contain any of your personal information, they are not written to your computer's hard-disk and they are destroyed after you close your internet browser.
We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking purposes, and do not use them to obtain any of your personal details.
The introduction of our customer accounts system means that a greater level of security is needed. Using cookies to store your session ID means that your name and address details will remain completely secure and will ensure that you are the only person able to view them.
Exchange rates vary from day to day but the most accurate way of check is by going to www.xe.com – the site has a currency converter located below the shopping basket.
As we take the money from your account the moment you make the order you will know there and then if your order had has been accepted. If your order has declined you will be told as well
All orders placed by debit / credit card are packed and sent the same day if placed before 4pm * (GMT) If you have ordered items from our pre selling page, your pre sale tracks will be shipped separately on release. All pre sale tracks are shipped individually and a separate (reduced) postage charge is applicable here. We cannot ship more than one pre sale track together.
* If a product is picked and discovered to be damaged or we are unable to locate the product, we will email you straight away to ask you if you would like us to hold your order until we order another copy (normally next Day) or dispatch the order without the product. We do our upmost to have all first class orders sent out same day but this is not guaranteed, If you need a delivery to be guaranteed Next Day, please select the Next Day Option.
IMO Records will not sell or pass on any customer details such as names, addresses or email addresses to any third parties.
We take credit card fraud very seriously and on receipt of such orders the appropriate authorities will always be informed along with the IP address location and order details.
We cannot guarantee delivery times as these are technically out of our control, however we constantly strive to ensure they are to the highest standards.
Next Day Delivery Guaranteed All countries within the EU are subject to VAT: UK, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary , Republic of Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Madeira, Malta, Monaco, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, Bulgaria, Romania.
Countries outside the EU do not pay any VAT. VAT is charged 17.5% No we cannot offer this service.

Yes, whether you are in the UK or Rest of the World we offer a next day service, when checking out you will be given this option.
Click on the forthcoming section within the genre you are shopping for then click on email alert button and add your email address, an email will be sent to you as soon as the record is in stock.
Anything out of stock has a request stock button, click this button to alert a member of the IMO team that you are after this product. We will Endeavour to order this product from our suppliers the following week.
Your wish list is there to keep track of what records you are after. If you see an item you’re after but need to come back another time for it simply add it to your wish list and you will never forget. Wish list can also be emailed to friends or family to let them know what you’re after.
Pre Sale records are tracks that are to be released in the future but you can buy them now. You can add them to your shopping cart and you will be charged for them up front. They are then shipped straight out to you on the day of release. All pre sale tracks are shipped individually and a separate (reduced) postage charge is applicable here. We cannot ship more than one pre sale track together.
Yes we do all second hand stock is shown on the website as normal and all records are checked for problems before being added to the website.
Yes we will buy record collections simply contact us by email or phone to let us know what you are selling. Alternatively you can sell records through our IMO Market Place.

Some promo copies of records are supplied with a full colour sleeve but are listed as such, white label full releases are also listed as such.
Some abroad orders are split due to shipping conditions, therefore you may receive half your order on one day with the remainder of the order following on.
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the products within 21 days of ordering in perfect condition / unopened / worn for a refund* or exchange to the value of the products ordered only. To return a product please return to IMO Records with original or copy of invoice and state reason for return on invoice. Any products returned without these will be refused or not refunded / exchanged. IMO will not be responsible for any postage costs incurred in returning products back to us) Tape Packs and CD's can only be exchanged. (* If IMO refund an amount back on to your credit credit, we will charge you what we get charged - 5%).
Do not accept it, give it back to the courier or postman and ask them to return it sender. We will then make arrangement fore new records to be dispatched.
Contact us here at IMO. We do not accept any products back without a returns authorisation form so you must speak to a member of staff before sending anything back.

Contact us at IMO so we can start with claim procedures and re-ship records. If you chose the standard 1st class mail service then please follow the following guidelines:- We cannot make any claims until after fifteen days so please do not contact IMO until the fifteen day period has expired. Please also make sure you check your local depot as the parcels are often held up there and are easily re-delivered. IMO Records will then complete a Royal Mail P58 Claim form on behalf of yourself and send this to Royal Mail, you will then recieve a letter from Royal Mail which you will need to sign to verify the order went missing. Once Royal Mail have recieved this claim we will then send the replacements records. For all people who ordered a next day service please contact IMO Records straight away and we will contact our courier service imediately and re-ship the records. We can only place a maximum of 2 claims per address as Royal Mail will only pay compensation on an address twice. A note of addresses where claims have been made is kept on file and we will no longer send to these addresses. IMO Records is not responsible if customers have given incorrect address details.
You must contact IMO Records within 48hrs of delivery and IMO will send the missing item.
No unfortunately we cannot offer this service, we can only create you a new order.

What is IMO not responsible for? Input errors - If you have inputted a wrong address and the order has been shipped, no refunds or claims will be given for this mistake. If and when the records get sent back to us, we will contact you straight away and you can decide if you would like a refund or records to be sent again with additional postal costs.
